air filter and lambda sensor help
beaver34 - 18/12/11 at 06:46 PM

hi,

below are some pics of my engine bay, wanting some ideas to where people think i should put an air filter?
as there isnt much room at all to play with, i wanted a carbon airbox with a cold feed from bonnet but there isnt enough room for it in there

also the lambda sensor, on a tubo motor how far away from the turbo is best?

thanks

without a doubt id fit a naca duct in the nosecone with an inline filter and mount the lambda anything more than 3 inches after the turbo

dont have the room inline for the filter that way, i have a bmc carbon enclosed one but its too big

what about either out the side of the bonnet or up through the nose and have a filter poking out?

Have you looked in the K&N filter catalogue (it's online somewhere) you will find a load of different shapes/sizes of filters one is bound to fit under the bonnet/nose cone with a bit of plumbing..
