Hi All,

Need to fit a oil preasure sender, not much space for a "T" from oil light switch are these any good?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oil-Sandwich-Plate-Universal-Fit-gauge-sender-silver-/180571478086?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=it em2a0ae61846

Not much more than a T peace, or am I asking for leaks ect?

Ta

Hi
Ive used one of these to supply oil to a turbo.
the 1 in the listing seems to supplied with 2 metric adapters.
this wont do if your oil filter has an imperial thread.
(they are extenders not adapters, male thread 1 end female the other, matching your block and oil filter)
Cant you break into an oil gallery on the pump or block?

What about running a flexi hose (suitable pressure of course) from the block to a position where you can fit a T. Less vibration for the sender(s) too. A mate of mine had the T snap off from the block of his rally car, spraying oil everywhere - he was initially a bit peeved with me because I did the wiring and the oil pressure light didn't come on - I quickly explained that the oil pressure switch needed to be earthed to work, not floating around in mid air!
