engine mounts, can't decide

Lots of questions here! I'm replacing a Fiat TC engine that were far back in my chassis with the Duratec. Unlike others I have to move the engine to the front, but engine mount are a little off:




Will it work OK with this slant? (The mounting rubber is Land Rover 50mm diameter). I read Flak monkey's thread but mine is the other way, forward instead of backwards...

I'd say it will be fine. The duratec is a light weight engine and the landrover mounts are very ridgid. Just use some large box if you want to be on the safe side.

That should be fine - my left mount comes back at more of an angle than that , and the right one angles forward ..........

Can you not extend the plate to the left (there seems to be a useable bolt hole to the left and up a bit) and then angle the mount slightly less, so it comes between the to bolts on the left. (if theres enough gap between those bolts.
