Hi thought i would run this by you all going to put bodies on duratec have not decided wether to use injectors in head or bodies but if i use mondeo fuel rail can i take guts out of fuel reg and use after market reg and return to tank cheers

The Duratec fuel rail does not contain a fuel regulator. It is a 'shock absorber' which smooths out the pulses from the pump and also the injectors.

You can take the guts out however as I have done so, inside there is a damper arrangement which has a spring inside so watch your eyes.
