Engine oil contamination

On finishing a routine oil & filter change on my MK Blade engine yesterday I noticed a slight residue of sand in the funnel top. Without noticing I must of touched the garage wall with the funnel and knocked out a small amount of dust. My question is if some small amout of particles have got through the mesh in the funnel and entered the engine wil they drop into the sump then be picked up by the filter. I was considering draining the oil and flushing out the engine but thought once the sands in there there is no guarantee the flushing will remove all of them. This is one of thoses wake up in the middle of the night worries, any thoughts please.

Personly i would be shitting myself, thinking there could be SAND in the engine,

I doubt a flush would satisfy my brain, that there was no nasty stuff left in the engine
If anything its a full drain / flush and sump off

Sand will fall to the bottom, drain the oil whip the sump off and scoop up any rubbish and change the filter.

If there is nothing in the sump then nothing has got in

If you not not have a baffle then its a good chance to fit one, at the end of the day its only a handful of 8mm bolts and a gasket.

Sort of what he says.

I would expect the sand to stick to stuff on the way down so I would take sump off and flush copiously with a very thin oil or an oil/paraffin mix.
