Hi folks ,
Ive got a bike radiator which I am thinking of using on my 4age engine
This is due to the space available. Will this provide enough cooling for the engine or do I need a bigger one?
Thanks
Cant see a bike rad managing, bikes rely on alot of air cooling as well as water.
Standard is to use one of these:
VOLKSWAGEN POLO 1983-1990 / DERBY / SEAT TERRA RADIATOR NEW - 2 YEAR WARRANTY | eBay
They are quite narrow and go in well in the nose of a '7'.
As all the pipes are on the left so means neat plumbing on the same side of the car the engine outlets are on, just needs a long pipe along the side
of the engine bay.

Loggyboy is that your old car?
What air filter plenum set up are you using?
Supercharger?
Hi mate, I run a zzr1100 in the back of my trike, gets very little air flow if any. due to packaging probs like you, my rad is about 3/4 the size the bikes got. i also run the standard and original oil cooler. Iv fitted each with a fan, wired together into the rad fan switch. when coolant comes up to 91 degrees, both fans come on. due to smaller rad fans are on more frequent and for a split second longer. works a treat though. so yeah go for it, itll be fine, especially if you can an oil cooler which are tiny so should find a slot for it somwhere
