I thought about these the other day after seeing someone advertising some for sale. They are cheap to buy compared to a sausage filter and backplate, and with my running problems at the moment have been considering binning my upside down airbox and running an open filter.

Anyone??

Iv seen plenty of bikes fitted with them.
Not the cheapest though!
Personally Id always go with the oem airbox.
Mine ran nasty with just the back half of air box including panel filter, acquired front half - runs sweet.
If you dont get it right it could run lean.

think its been asked a few times on here, they do work, but are quite restrictive, so not the best, and a bit of a waste of time really. better getting a good pipercross (or similar) sausage filter
