4age rich running ?

hi there

have been sorting out leaks on throttle bodies and now the car is running so rich......black soot when i rev her plugs are black and sooty

would a small leak on the bodies now no longer leaking make this much of a change ? i did also adjust the the brackets holding the throttle bodies so i am now thinking that maybe the tps has moved as the revs are now 1500-2000 on tick over

TPS changes could easily mess things up.

What about cable to temperature sensor (air or water). Open circuit looks like -40degC or so. If the engine thinks its cold then it will throw loads of extra fuel in.

will check the air and water sensors, but i will try to reset tps...........how do i do this ?

it depends on the ECU, read the manual and see what it has to say.
