Crank Sensor Wiring - Zetec

Ok Guys - (and Girls)

I have read on here that sometimes the engine will not start due to the sensor being wired wrong.

Just starting to wire up the EDIS, so how do I ensure it is correct?

Thanks in advance,

Len.

try it, if it doesn't work, swap the two wires over. i did mine with temp wiring (no shielded cable) and one of those plastic terminal blocks. wired, didn't work, swapped the wires over in the block, tried again, it worked. once you know what way it should be, go ahead and wire it up properly

Thanks,

I was hoping to 'get it right first time'.

Thanks David,

I did see that thread in the early days, but not it's completion.

FlakMonkeys drawing was excellent - should be OK now.
