Following my trip to stoneleigh and the bad rattle that i developed, the engine and gear box will be removed this weekend.
now i'm sure it was something silly like the thrust bearing comming off the fork, but when the gearbox is out of the car i'm going to
replace the seals as has been leaking a bit (due to the breather being blocked).
my question is how do you get the old seals out? do i just just a screw driver or is there a special tool?
to pit the new ones in do i just soak the seals in gear oil and knock into place with a tube over the shaft to ensure the pressure is applied
uniformally around the seal.
your advice is as always much apreciated.
