Evening all,
I am currently trying to devise a way of mounting a TPS to my ZX6R carbs (I bought them without realising a needed a TPS for megajolt), and I've
heard of someone making a pulley system by using the throttle return cable to rotate another pulley which the TPS is mounted to, and I was wondering
if the zetec TPS is spring loaded so it will return to the 0 position when tension isnt being applied by the cable?
Or if not is there an easier way that I don't know about? The throttle spindle is pretty small on the carbs and I'm a bit dubious about
drilling into it.
The zetec TPS is sprung and returns to 0 when released. No reason it cant be mounted on the pedal or the Throttle spindle but you could even make up a
housing at some convenient point on the cable with a nipple operating a short arm which is attached to a spindle and this could operate the TPS.

I used the mondeo one on a set of Twin 40's I managed to get it mounted to the throttle spindle I used polymorph to help me to attach the two. Polymorph is a mouldable plastic
