Silencers

I currently have a GSXR750 standard exhaust on my MK - it's quiet (well it was until it started vibrating internally!) but restrictive. Usual standard can, integral cat etc. I've already made an airbox to quieten the induction. I'm intending to replace the silencer with something less restrictive - more than likely a 6" Wunoff since they're just down the road from me.

The question is, I know that the Wunoff repackable cans are supposed to be pretty quiet, but how do they compare noise wise to the likes of my existing can? They'll be quieter than your average sports can of course, but what I don't want to do is make the exhaust louder after I've just quietened the induction!

Cheers

why quieter?!
generally, if you want quiet itll be restirictive, and heavy... the ones that kinda 'spiral' the gases are meant to be less restrictive though (i think)

Why quieter? Track days! Was really just asking how a good absorptive silencer compares dB wise to a more traditional factory bike can.
