I have got to the point where i have to bolt down my engine mounts in their final position.
My question is, should I:
a) Mount the enging on the centre line of the chassis?
b)Off set it to the passenger side to take in account of my weight when driven alone/missus wighing less than me when two up?
If i do off set to the passenger i think i might be able to also move the engine back another inch due to the position of the starter motor.
Engine box combo is a 2ltr zetec/Mt75 in an Indy chassis.
What do you think?

I would have thought it's more important to get the propshaft running as straight as possible down the tunnel and inline with the diff.
Could be wrong though!

If you can wait until tonight, I'll have a look in my copy of a Westfield manual and see what they do (as their chassis is remarkably similar to
the book Locost one... )
Usually, the engine is parallel, but offset slightly to one side.

Cheers David.
I would go for parrallel to centre line and as far back as i can get it be it central or not.
