pinto piston ID

Hi folks,
Just taken the head off the pinto and the piston has markings of sp 0.04mm.
Apparently the engine has had a full refurb and I was wondering if these are standard or slightly oversized or
do the markings not mean anything like that.

Cheers
Andi

Sounds like it's had a rebore at +0.04mm above standard bore.

Either that's not bore size markings or youve read then wrong. O/S pistons are in 0.5mm and 1mm which is 20 thou and 40 thou in old money - never heard of a 1.5 thou overbore, thats smaller than the piston to bore clearance.
Pinto pistons usually state size such as 91.300mm or 91.800mm etc

I think it's the deck height
I.e 0.4mm below the top of the block
My pistons are 0.382 below
