Ive just shortened my sump - http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=149348 - and im after finding out how much the standard lower half of the 2 stage sump holds.
If anyone has one off their car or will have over the next few weeks/months, and chance you can fill it up with a measuring jug and see how many litres it takes?

since you haven't got a better answer, looking at the pics of what you cut off, i'd guess at about 1.5 litre. couldn't be far off that i think

are you going to add some wings on the sides to get the capacity back up again?
