Fireblade Gearbox Identification

I've got my RRV 'blade apart to investigate gearbox issues. Before sorting replacements I'm trying to identify exactly what I've got, and I'm getting pretty stumped.

If I count the teeth on all the gears, it matches perfectly with the fiche from the 1997 bike: -

EXCEPT, the mainshaft has 13 teeth, instead of the expected 11. When you look through the fiche for all years of 'blade, I can't find any revisions where there were RRT/RRV ratios on 13 tooth mainshaft.

I hold in my hand for example item 5 on the fiche, which I would expect to be 23431-MAS-000 (Gear 15T). It has 15 teeth, as per the 1997 model. But it fits on a 13T shaft. The mainshaft was 13T on the RRN/P/R/S (but this gear would have been 16T) and on the RRW/RRX (but this gear would have been 13T).

So as far as I can see, this gear I hold in my hand does not exist!

So, is the fiche wrong, or have I got some sort of aftermarket gearbox?

What's the history of the motor? Wasn't used by some Autograss boys previously?

We have 1997 Fireblade gearbox's made by Nova transmissions for our Superlite (Drakart) race cars so its entirely possible that there are some non-standard transmissions knocking about. After all, it was a very popular motor in a number of forms of motorsport.
