Im struggling to decide which vernier pulley to go for from kent cams for my 2.1 pinto. Its going to be used for fast road so isn't going to rev high from long periods of time. Is the alloy one a lot weaker/lighter? Or is the steel one the way to go?

The ally ones are much lighter but do wear if you do a lot of miles

I would go for the steel one, cheaper plus as said the alley one can wear quickly - the teeth round off making the belt more likely to jump
