Weber 32/36 question
nick205 - 23/9/04 at 10:31 AM

Can anyone tell me what the vacuum type pipe on the rear of my Weber 32/36 carb is for?

Is it vacuum?

I already have a vacuum connection from the inlet manifold to the dizzy!

Any info appreciated

Probably went to distributor or air filter.

Just put a blocked piece of hose on it if you dont need it..............

Distributor Vacuum Advance. Not all manifolds have takeoffs. Wouldn't go to the Air Filter as this would bleed in excess air after the butterflys.

Cheers

Stop It!

I didnt mean straight into the air filter!

I meant into those strange devices that sometimes operate cool / warm air flaps that are fixed to the air filter (inside).....
