Anyone know what the flow rate of Mondeo 2.0 Zetec injectors is? They have beige coloured plugs and are marked 'ND' which I assume stands
for Nippon Denso. Dunno if that means they are beige injectors?
Found a couple of lists of flow rates on the 'net which seem to suggest there was a beige ND injector used in Toyotas but no one lists one for
the Zetec.
Can anyone shed any light or shall I fit the 'greens' I have from an RS1800?
Chris
Side inlet or top inlet injectors? Phase 2 or Phase 3??
Cheers
erm... now you've got me!
They're the same shape as the set of green ones I have from a Fiesta RS1800 but these were in a 2.0 Mondeo on an M plate. They screw into the
fuel rail with and then the wiring goes in on the top so the inlet must be about half way down the body. I assume that makes them side inlet?
Cheers, Chris
Yep side inlet, and sorry the answers is I've got no idea as to the flow rate...

Anyone else shed any light on the problem?

Chris,
you need to update the cabby pic in your signature...!!
Ned.
Chris have a look on www.mr2oc.com on the Mk1 forum there's a thread with lots of links to Bosch and Nippon Denso injector specs.
Happy hunting
Chris
Chris,
Have you thought about measuring them yourself. I checked some ones I bought off ebay recently that were around the 345cc @ 3bar. I did it by pushing
the injector into some copper pipe 15mm OD with an olive soldered onto the end and tweaked to accept the clamp. Then filled the tube with parrafin
(didn't fancy risking petrol) and pressurised it with an air compressor regulated to 3 bar. Energised the solenoid and measured the flow.
The set up will be useful for future to check the spray pattern.
Just a thought.
Cheers,
Colin
Chris,
I'll try an find out for you on Monday. I work close to the gasoline development bunch at Dunton, but most of them don't seem to be around
at the moment. I'll let you know if I find anything.
