Hi i have a classic mini project at the moment which i am hoping to use an r1 up. What engine would you guys reccomend as it will be a similiar weight to what you run.. also can someone tell me the horsepower differences between the two as can't seem to get an acurate idea.

Ps I am looking for an engine let me know if you have one

theres a bargain 919 blade engine on ebay. search for it from a fisher fury kit car. full package with exhaust,billet sump, airbox,

I think the 5PW has a few more bhp than the 5JJ. Being injected and depending on whether you're happy with carbs it is easier to tune with a power commander (from my perspective at least).

They are very similar engines with many parts in common but not directly interchangable.
