Are any of the pinto heads good for unleaded?

All the injection ones i think. I have a carbed one which i'll need to get converted at some point...

the heads all should have a code on them

there are a few different codes for the ones with hardened seats from the factory - one of haynes books has the details...
(its something like 'RR' on my EFI one from memory, but I'd need to check that...)

As above - all of the injection ones have hardened seats. You can identify these because the castings have injector cutouts in the inlet ports. Or they have a bloody great injection manifold attached!

All of the injected heads were made for unleaded.
Some of the non injected heads were also suitable for unleaded and also by now quite a few of the earliest, leaded only, heads will also have been converted to unleaded.
