Hi All.

Have an issue with my Edge starter motor, started yesterday intermittent click when turning the key, as though the battery was low, then started. Totally wont turn over today , battery fine, as lights don't dim when I try to start , just the click. could it be a solenoid.Not very old and has done very little work,Anybody had any experience with these starters please. Any idea of some one that would service or supply spares if ness , was going to take it off tonight and have a look, have already checked connections.

The fact that the lights don't dim makes me wonder if any current is being drawn when you try to start it. Could it be a poor connection on the starter/solenoid or bad engine earth? I would expect to see some dimming.

Good point, was going to check all the connections again before I spent all the time of getting it off , thanks.
