running a 1700 x flow good oil level and oil presure, but oil light stays on any ideas, changed oil and filter?

First point of call would be try another oil pressure switch , if that doesn't work then wiring . It's better to use an inertia switch rather than using the oil pressure , in the event of an accident the engine could carry on running
