Hi,
I have a formula 27 with a 2.0 ford zetec engine fitted.
There is ALOT of engine movement when accelerating, going over bumps etc.
Can anybody recommend any poly bushes to replace the original rubber mounts with please? Also, has anybody used/fabricated an upper engine stabiliser
bar/brace for this setup?
Thanks,
Liam

Normal rubber Landrover Series or Defender engine mounts are what you require they are cheap as chips you may have to space them up by packing them with plate washers.
Are the standard landrover mounts stiffer? Does anyone know if you can get poly versions?
Can anyone tell me what mounts the gearbox without me having to go and look under the car? Just me being lazy!
Might aswell change all the mounts at the same time.
I just can't believe how much movement there is through the gear stick!

You really don't want anything stiffer than Landrover Series 3 engine mounts.
The gearbox mount just be a big soft Sierra mount, there is harder version available for the Type9 http://retweeter.co.uk/magento/index.php/engine-drivetrain-exhaust/type-9-sierra-gearbox-mounting-rubber.html
Also your gear lever has a rubber joint halfway up --- getting rid of that makes a big difference.
