Hi, im having problem with the ground for fuel pump relay. When i connect up wire from ecu. Pin 37 i think nothing happens. If i use a wire and earth relay off chassis works fine. Bought the board already assembled. Priming pulse is also greater than 1 ect ect...i fact i have had it working correctly before? When i switch the ignition on with the multimeter between fpump wire and earth, it dose seem to be making some sort of attempt to switch,( resistance reading change on meter.) any ideas???
Is this any help?

Thanks Scudder, I was having that problem with the pump pulsing and fully understand it now.
Cheers,
Steve
Thanks mate will try that...could that cause the output to not ground the pump or just operate erratically im wondering? Thanks
pin 37 only earths the pump after MS sees the engine turning at cranking speed 300rpm or greater.
You do get an initial priming pulse when first switching on.
If the pump is pulsing you need to set MS type in software correctly.
Right okay,i havnt actually tried cranking it as it wasn't giving priming pulse....will try to do this as well! Cheers
You will need a fuel pump relay as per ms manual as current cannot be handled by the ms internals
The engine runs fine if i ground the pump relay off chassis. I ran the mini terminal but no errors show. Anyone have a screen shot of how to set the software configuration? Ta
