Mounted my twin 40s to the pinto manifold tonight and the spacing on the pinto manifold is different to the spacing on the XE manifold I took them off so now the linkage between the two carbs is too short (see photo).

Suggestions on where to buy a suitably longer lever? Preferably west mids area so i can take the carb along and make sure i get the right one.

Or ideas to neatly extend it?

A local fab shop, garage or blacksmiths could weld on a extension tab for peanuts.

Mine was the same. I just extended it a bit and it works fine
