Yes thank you any recommendations on make will GL5 be ok ?

it needs to be GL5 for the diff

but any decent brand will be fine - I don't think they are that fussy...


got an old bottle of castrol EP90 for mine (looks like they make a slightly different range these days)

opie oils recommend this stuff:

The final drive in Sierra viscous diff uses an ordinary GL5 Hypoid gear oil.

The original grade was EP90 GL5 Hypoid but that is commonly supplanted these days by EP75/90 GL5 Hypoid or EP80/90 GL5 Hypoid.

The GL5 part of the grade designation is the important bit.

Any reputable manufacturers( Castrol, Comma, Carlube even Halfords) gear oil that meets those requirements will do the job.
