Can anyone tell me if I have fitted the fuel tank breather in the picture correctly? It has no flow direction on it.

Cheers, Neil
I would have thought that it would be a one way valve i.e. you can blow through it one way but not the other.
If this is true then it should be positioned to allow air in but not allow fuel out. Also if this is true then it needs to be positioned so that any
fuel finding its way into the tube will drain back into the tank. So assuming it is the red bit in your photo I would have another think about its
position IMHO.

It should be a 2 way air/1 way fluid valve.
Any arrow should point to wards the tank. if it doesnt have one then get one that does, as it probably wont work!

Hi
If you are running carbs, then you only need a one way
valve to let air into the tank.
This is what we did.
Tank breather & non return valve

Take it off and pour water/ petrol down the tube if it goes though its the wrong way
If that's the 2way Think Automotive/Merlin Motorsport
VALVE then it looks to be fitted the right
way in the pipe but upside-down.. but it'd hard to tell from the photo.
To check, with it the right way up you should be able to blow through it in both directions. When it's mounted upside-down you'll only be
able to blow one way (upwards). With it the right way the bottom should go to the tank.
Hi
Sorry assumed it was carbs as I could not see a return pipe.
good luck.
