Fiat Doblo clutch change?
coozer - 5/10/13 at 03:22 PM

Anyone done a clutch on a Dobbie? Wondering how hard it is to do as theres no Haynes manual for it..

Its a 2006 model 1.9D. I had him down for MOT today and asked how much.. £280 + parts..

So, I'm going to do it myself.. changed the oil today and it looks a simple affair as theres no sub frame surrounding the motor and the gear box hangs down away from the chassis rail.

Am I right in thinking this motor is the same as the same year Astra 1.9D?

Euro Car Parts wanted £90 for a clutch kit yesterday, just checked again and its £115.. Not sure whats going on there

Do Halfords sell clutches?

Havent done one autodata says 6.8hrs 16v engine which is alot i would assume you have to drop the subframe out with that time but autodata isnt always that acurate.if its an 8v engine its 4.1hrs

Theres no subframe apart from a bit at the back where the wishbones and steering rack are, the engine (8V) its bolted to the chassis rail.

Bit of a pain to get the diff clear of the chassis rail but with a couple of bodies on a two post ramp its ok . You'll have lots of fun trying to do it on the floor though
