This sounds so stupid but ....

what do you buy to use as an accelerator cable?

Bike brake cable?
Lawn Mower accelerator cable?
something else?

I find the best is the fancy teflon lined cable they use on modern race bicycle gear cables (not brake, the gear cable outers are stiffer)

I don't know what mine are from but they're regular car ones.

Came from Uxbridge Auto Show at about £2 each. I bought a pair as I thought I might snap one and as it's unidentified it might be hard to replace it!
