i have a twin engined mini with 2 r1 engines in can't get carb setting right, i have no room for air filters so have jetted it up on the mains but still don't like it any ideas thanks newly
The CV carbs and no airboxes or filters are a nightmare, ive had major problems with my fireblade streetfighter on CV carbs with no airbox. Ive ended
up modifying a standard airbox and ive managed to get it perfect now but it was a bitch without the airbox.
With a factory pro filter kit the blades have to run 160 mains, with no filters i think you will have to run much bigger.

What were the standard main jet sizes? going to an open filter should only need about a 10-15 increase in jet size.
Std mains on my blade are 120 but with a factory pro kit you need 160mains and without airbox more like 180-200. Are your carbs in the r1 balanced?
When you say can't get it right - where is the issue low, mid or wide open throttle?
