Air filter location

Hi guys, with a single throttle body, if I stick an air filter in front of my radiator, will it suck in hot air from it or probably be ok from the air coming in the front of the car?
I guess it would be worse at idle but then doesn't really matter that much at idle I guess!

Cheers
Andy

ewwwww.

find a cold air feed

the colder the air the more dense, the more dense the more oxygen per cm cubed, the more oxygen the cleaner the combustion, more stallions (BHP) more torque

at work we designed and made "cold air walls" to go between the engine and the air intake these were basically alliminium wrapped in reflective insulation to reflect any heat from the engine away from the air filter and we wrapped all the air intake pipes on the engine side of the wall in heat reflective material to keep it as cold as we could. but we build and run race cars in a very competitive race series

in other words your intake temperatures want to be as cold as they can be
