I vaguely remember you were talking about a locking nut to fix it in place, where will that end up? And I'm guessing it won't be a nyloc nut, I can't imagine it staying locked once the exhaust is up to temperature!

there are two, one above and one below, just ran it up acustafil still needs to fully expand but just with it in place the noise as come down, 101 in iPhone app at 8k revs down to 97 with it closed, seems like result.

I put the bolt in wrong way around, the bold head is on the underside, now the disc is welded to the bolt cant move it, never mind.





101 max fully open on iPhone app at 8k revs, even with it in place but open there is a definite difference from before, maybe it altering flow enough to make more use of the silencer, dunno ?
