rover engine conversion.

i have a 97 rover 100 1.1 and i'm thinking of putting a 1.6 16v k series into it. does any one no of this being done befor or no any information on how to do it.

dont know about the conversion but surely uprated brakes and suspension may be an issue?

just found out that it is a simple engine swap and a ecu swap. the only thing is i don't no were to get suspension parts and brake upgrades does any one no any??????????????/ plz help i need to get a fast car hehe

MGF. = Two metro front subframes, one at the front with no engine ( but still uses metro hubs & CV joints {with the inards removed} ) and one at the back but with the steering elements replaced rigid.

Oh and the steering is electrically operated power assist around the column it's self.

there you have it MGF disk/calliper upgrades, im sure there are plenty of different choices available, do the rover 100's still use that crappy hydrospastic suspension?

on a rover forum and they said all i need to do is get a hold of a k series and its ecu and take out old and bolt in new simple as that just change te ecu round and get brake upgrade yeah, cheers lads
