anyone done an mk with ri engine in. read an article about exup vavle needed to be left in wiring loom due to cdi produc ing fault code if sensed not there? also did wiring loom prove difficult? any advice welcome

there are quite a few been built now..
R1 Indy builders on here include OX and SUBK2002 and ATHOIRS...
as long as you have the exup motor you can leave it plugged into the loom but not connected to the original exup valve..

the wiring of the carb ones is pretty straight forward..
