Hi All
Thinking of converting a seven from a X-Flow to a Zetec. Well trodden path I know, loads of good material out there. The Xflow is on bike carbs, and I
want to go down the same route for the Zetec. For the spark, what's are the differences and pros/cons of each? My impression is that the omen is
easier and more complete, but also more expensive - that fair? Will I need TPS for both?
Thanks
Im running mine on megajolt with zx9 carbs
Have a look at nodiz, I had a fisher fury running a 2.0l silvertop on a chester sports cars bike carbs (zx6 I think) and megajolt jnr kit, ran really
well. Chester have recently gone over to nodoz I think they may have been finding it difficult to source edis modules. Worth a search on both. You
will need either a tps or a map sensor, most go for just the tps, you should be able to use the one that comes with the bike carbs.

If you're going zetec, why not use bike thottle bodies instead of carbs and go injected
I've got a Megajolt and been happy with it. It works well enough and is easy to change the map.
I use the TPS on my ZX6 carbs.
Stu
If I was doing it again i would use the ZX9 carbs with tps and a Megajolt.
Having tried injection I think I would rather spend some of the money on cams and better gearbox ratios and use the rest for a Caribbean holiday...

is your x/flow up for sale?
if yes please sent me a PM with the spec. and condition.
thanks
I use Megajolt with my Zetec powered Royale single seater, using R1 carbs and Map. I have just spent 2 weeks in France hill climbing and received an incredible amount of comment about how much torque the motor has............
Interesting on the megajolt, how did you map - yourself, or someone else for you?
Another option appears to be Nodiz. Less around on it, but the unit itself appears to have more stuff inbuilt than MJ.
The Xflow will probably be up for sale at some point later this year - 1700cc, 1300 cams, polished head, BCF2 cams, bike carbs and manifold from BB
are the highlights.

The NODIZ offers the best value for money and functionality and being a Zetec the map is readily available.

We have just added the Megajolt Map import feature also which will spread the 10x10 map over the 16x16 map of the nodiz, so any MJ maps can now be easily used
