Write a letter to these people stating your engine number,and they will write a nice letter back to confirm.

slight problem i can,t read the engine number due to corrosion build up any suggestion,s it,s the very lightly dotted number not the proper stamped

My CVH was the same. Went over it with a wire brush and sent off what I thought was the right number. Ford wrote back saying it was wrong so tried the next most likely. Got a letter back confirming the age within a week.
