can you read something different, as i havent found anything with the above 2 numbers.


the (alloy) bellhousng is a proper one, not adapted with a plate or whatever.

i have heard that the gearbox was sourced from a cosworth sierra, but this is only rumor.

hillmanīs have a more visible square shaped recess on the hyraulic end -- so doenst look right

the stag one sounds promising...the numer is similar....but NOT identical...look here:

bore size is 1"...which is also LAND ROVER Defender 90 / 110 3.5 1985 On and Series 3 3.5 1980 - 1985

the cylinder is one with a bore size of 1"

replacing the seals would be an idea too....but the question is: do all seals for a bore size of 1" fit? as it seems that dieffernt systems (lookheed, girling, lucas) are existing.
