Hi,
To remove the clutch release bearing from a Type 2 gearbox do I just pull it as hard as I can? Or does it twist etc?
Thanks
Jon
If you pull the clutch fork outward releasing it from it's pivot, pull the bearing off the shaft. I tink
Arghhh! It doesn't seem to want to budge. I've pulled the bearing out and now the fork is held in by a plastic inner bearing part with
wings. It doesn't seem to turn and I can't pull the fork away from the pivot pin.
Help!
If the fork is released from the pivot,as you pull the bearing(and carrier) the fork will come out with the bearing

A screwdriver between the plastic bit of the carrier and the clutch arm will pop the carrier/bearing off.
