I have fitted R1 carbs to my 2ltr Pinto, the revs are not shutting down quick enough. somebody on here said they fitted an extra return spring.

What spring did you use and how / where did you locate it?

This is what I did on my ZZR carbs. Works just fine.

Throttle Return Spring [/img]

As above you can make up a return system using the secondary cable slot on the throttle quadrant.

Or on the R1 carbs you can just buy a throttle return spring from merlin motorsport and attach it to the choke rail on the R1 carbs one end,and around the tab on the throttle quadrant.

I've done this and it works spot on
