Took my grass track car out for the first time today, car is over heating after 5 laps, ive flushed all the hoses and rad and all were fine thermostat was removed for better flow.
Water pump outlet doesn't feel great when holding the pipe but there's some pressure.

Once it gets hot it starts pouring out coolant out the overflow pipe

Engine is a kawasaki zx12r which sits in the back of my buggy rad sits ontop of engine

Sorry for the late reply finally sorted it.
Water pump was turning but had a load of gunk/dried antifreeze so cleaned out was pumping better but still over heating.
There's a little pipe above the thermostat housing I had that blocked off as my rad is different, when filling system up I had the bung out to get the air out the block. But I thought I'd take the bung out quickly while it's running sure enough coolant came out but after half a litre a massive gush of air came out then coolant started coming out again, hey presto no over heating problems!!
Strange how much air was still in it after that half litre or so came out

It would probably be worth putting a vent pipe between that fitting on the stat housing and the top of the radiator (pressurised side of the cap), to provide a constant air bleed.
