i know may have been asked before but how hard is it to fit a zetech engine to a type 9 gearbox i only ask as im thinking of junking my very old
motor for something with fuel injection .
thanks for any information
It's fairly straight forward, they bolt together on most of the holes but you will need to get the correct starter, clutch and thrust bearing.
And need to put a spigot bear in in the zetec crank shaft end, stock ford Sierra part.
I posted some info on this thread, I think it tells you what clutch, starter and spigot bearing to use.

Yep, as said fairly easy to do.
I've posted details on my build blog for a 2.0ltr zetec which is much the same.

You can also get a pinto style Zetec flywheel that will take your pinto clutch and starter ect. Just add a spigot bearing.
The 1.8 flywheel and 2ltr pinto clutch fit together with some minor fettling and use pinto thrust bearing so just starter motor Ls707 r I got mine on ebay £80
