I have both PB and Needle bearings for my Ford V8, but cannot decide which to use....
Needle sounds better, but it has several parts, and breaking up is not unknown...
PB is just a single lump, nothing to go wrong really....
As the bearing does nothing unless the clutch is pressed, I'm leaning towards phosphor bronze....
But looking to the collective wisdom here for any thoughts.....
Used both over the years, i prefer using roller bearings.

I’ve had problems with needle roller bearings siezing on a few occasions and also with PB s coming loose or squealing due to drying out. My preference is needle roller
Needle roller or ball bearing every time. People only have problems when they fit them back to front, the dust seal needs to face the clutch.
