Evening chaps. Would a 2" diameter exhaust be too small on an 1800 Zetec? I'm rebuilding a car and to keep costs down i'm looking at using a bike can for the exhaust and have found one that looks suitable locally.

2 litre Clio 172 makes do with a 2" system

my 2000 Zetec had a 2" exhaust, I used the same system on the 1600 works well,

2” would hold back an st170 or a 2.0 Zetec with cams and head work nudging 200bhp but 2” will be fine under that.
