In case anyone is interested I thought I'd give a quick update on my bike carb setup. I've had the re-spaced ZX6 mikunis on for some time
fixed horizontally using a 5mm aluminium plate with the zx6 rubber inlets, and with the standard .12 pilot jets, which worked well and went well but
was not quite right at lower engine speeds.
I did a bit of research and bought some Fazer 1000 carb inlets which are angled up. These fit perfectly on the carbs and angle them much more like
they are on the bike.
I also did some more testing with the wideband and ended up with 1.8mm mains, needles one notch from the top and .20 pilot jets which makes the car
run perfectly. W the. With the 0.12 standard pilots the car just wouldn't run rich enough at idle and I couldn't get the afr under 18.
Afr is now around 14-15 under most circumstances and about 13 at WOT.
The car starts, idles and pulls really well across the rev range now.
The inlet manifold was about £25 including the Fazer carb rubbers to make, so if you can re-space the carbs it's a very cheap way to get a zetec
going.

A picture is worth a thousand words....
But it sounds like a grand job!
I can't upload photos to the forum anymore. Not sure why.
This might work.
