Northy - 20/2/05 at 05:29 PM

Well as it says really, would like a black exhaust if possible.

We have a company called Jet Hot here in the states, and I think they do work in Australia, but I can't find a dealer in the UK.

I would think there must be something similar though.

Mine's still perfectly black and hasn't come off or cracked and it cost less than a fiver for the silencer and all the pipes!
Wasn't powder coated though

I don't know what manufacutres' use as OE on manifolds, but that would be the stuff to use.

try WD40, but spray it on outside not on the silencer though.

Have you thought of exhaust wrap?

The POR-15 Co. do a high temp (1200ºF) paint called Black Velvet and a grey one
called manifold grey (1400ºF)

Other than PRO-15 does any body do paint on with a brush maniford paint or are they all in areosols?

My budget doesn't quite streach to PRO-15 level products.
