Can the MT75 box be mated up to a pinto? Also, did the cars that used the MT75 have electronic speedos?
The reason I ask is because I thought I had a type 9 box, but when I went to fit the speedo cable I couldnt find where it went? There was no hole like
on the Capri with type 9 I saw down the scrappy. All I could see were two connectors, one in front of the gearlever to the left which is the reverse
ligth switch and another screwed into the box with two pins coming out of it?
I was a little confused lol
Yeah the mt75 will go onto the pinto, they fittted electronic speedos to type 9's in Granada's if i remember correctly.
Not sure if its removable though - worth checking to see if it is, might be a whole different tail section with the sensor built in
I did have a pic somewhere for reference.

Aha I was told the engine came from a Granada, so its probably a type 9 with the electronic sender. It may prove handy actually as it doesnt look as
tho i'll be able to get the cable to fit.
What age granada do I want to rob the clocks out of? lol or will others like later sierra clocks hook up to the sender?

Click on the gearbox names on the right-hand column to see nice pictures... (BTW: the MT75 shown is the 4WD version, with the extra output lump on the
side).
