has anyone used the 4 branch exhaust kit that lolocost supplies
i think it comes in kit form of 4 pipes and you have to weld it all together
its for a pinto engine and costs £50
just wanted to know how good/bad it is before i buy it as i dont want to spent £150 + on an exhaust system

Just beat me to it - i am vaguely thingink of getting the locost set, but i would need another plate adaptor thing to make it suit my cvh.

Westfield do a CVH exhaust they appear on ebay from time to time as Westie owners convert to more modern engines.
I paid 70 pounds for mine.

i made a convoluted 4-2-1 exhaust from scrap in a day. Its really easy you know - just chop up a few full systems and you will have loads of bends!

The Pinto and CVH need very different primary lengths. Adapt a Pinto manifold to a CVH engine and you will be so down on power you will be overtaken by kids in pedal cars. Seriously the CVH can be made to perform but it is very sensitive to inlet tract and exhaust primary lengths.

Best bet is the Westfield manifold.
