I ahev re-built the head, but haev a few parts I have never come across before and are unsure where they go.

In the kit (admittedly it was an AutoJumble special) it had a pack of 8 metal rings, about the same size in diameter as valve stem oil seals. Each ring has a V shaped cross section and is made from a slightly gold coloured metal.

Any ideas?
