Which fuel sender
Matthew_1 - 8/4/05 at 01:59 PM

Been searching on here for details of fuel senders and there dosn't seem to be any definitive answer to the question ...

Which fuel sender is best to top mount in a locost sized (and shaped) fuel tank of about 7 gallons ?

Cheers

senders are more often than not matched to the guage, so what type of guage do you have?

the sender we used was to match the gauge

I've got a smiths telemetrix guage, and bought a luego 6 holed smiths sender.

THe problem with this was that although it fits the flange on my gts tank, it was designed to go in sideways, i had to bend the float around 180 degrees and shorten it, but it works great.

I tihnk most senders will require a little bashing to get them to work as needed.

- Return point
- Level meter
